Our Quick Start webinar is a live, 90 minute web conference scheduled the first and third Friday of every month at 12:30 pm ET. This is the perfect orientation for your recent faculty hires or for faculty preparing to make the jump from classroom teaching to hybrid and fully online courses. CEUs are provided to course completers for accreditation documentation.

We will start with the basics, always keeping in mind the impact of good teaching on learning outcomes, student retention, and the ultimate success of your students in their chosen vocation. We will cover best practices for student engagement and interaction and the appropriate use of technology. We will talk about how students learn online and what we need to do, as educators, to maintain an active classroom presence, thus fostering the development of an online learning community. Certification for Online Career School Faculty  Regular Price: $495.00 + Textbook • Consortium Clients $395.00 + Textbook

This 4 week fully online certification course is appropriate for all online faculty, whether teaching in a hybrid (blended) or fully online environment.  A new course section begins the first Monday of each month. The certification course follows the schedule of a typical online course and models best practices throughout.  Participants engage in a comprehensive range of reading, discussion, written assignments, and assessment.  We will study the pedagogy of distance learning, discuss its applicability to private career school students, and actively practice the skills needed to be a successful instructor in an online program.

The course load is equivalent to a three semester credit course. This is an essential course for accredited schools seeking to maximize student outcomes while promoting professional development for valued faculty.
